Hope is ~6 years old and has only ever known shelter/boarding life. She originally came from OCAS where she displayed resource guarding, kennel aggression & faced behavioral euthanasia despite being a puppy. It is unknown what she experienced so early on, but since having her at RSR for the past 5 years, she has grown leaps and bounds. She is so sweet, so affectionate, and you will be greeted with the biggest tail wags every time you walk in the door. She does love to jump up for hugs and press her paws right against you, so because of this, she would do best in a home with older/bigger kids or adults.

Rocky is ~6 years old and believed to be a chiweenie. He is a small guy with the biggest heart & personality. He loves EVERYONE and we’re pretty sure judging by his always-happy-demeanor, that he hasn’t ever experienced a bad day. This is one dog that can easily put a smile on your face. Weighing in around 25lbs, he doesn’t let his small stature stop him from doing big things! If Ninja Warrior was looking for a dog, Rocky would take the title with his ability to maneuver obstacles & scale tall tractor tires. He loves dogs and has been known to chase cats in the past. It is unknown how he would do with them now that he is older and wiser.

Chance is a ~3 year old Cattle dog mix. He is playful in nature and sweet, but takes a moment to warm up to new people. Don’t let his scaredy-cat greeting turn you away. Chance would do best in a quieter home without children. He has some dog friends, with his best friend being a female cattle dog/pointer mix. It is unknown how he is with cats. Chance was experiencing shelter stress, so he is currently fostering with us until he finds his forever home. Will you give Chance, a chance?

Gus is a ~7 year old sweet & utterly gentle good boy. He was a long time member of Beachtown Dogs Daycare until his beloved owner unexpectedly passed away. Since Brandon has been involved in Gus’ life for so long, the family asked for him to be taken into RSR with the hopes that he will find his new home. Gus is truly the perfect companion with eyes that will see through to your soul. He is quiet, well-mannered, and would love to be your best friend.

Draco is ~2 year old Dutch Shepard. He was found wandering around Gemini Springs after he had been hit by a car. Thankfully, the only injury Draco had was a gash around his eye. Good samaritans, with the help of the community, brought Draco to a local vet where they stitched him back together. He came to RSR for continued care. This fella is a very sweet dog with a lot of love to give. He is loyal & has an amazing whistle recall. He needs an experienced handler who will continue to work with him on confidence building & training exercises. He is best suited for someone with time & understanding of Dutch Shepherds/Malinois breeds, or a Search & Rescue (or similar) agency.
